A very late reply, but I just found the same thing and was going to post about it. When I search, I want to click a result and go to that post. Now I can read them, but I can't actually post a reply unless manually going through all the posts. I think it makes it a lot easier to not double post something. Keeps the forum clean too. So this has my vote:)
You can go directly to the post by clicking the post number, on the right. Here's a screenshot:

Is it just me who has not found out how to use the forum search properly?
- I cannot limit my search to specific subforums. I want to be able to only search in the Bugs subforum.
- I cannot display the posts with the search term in it, just the thread. That is of no use, if the found thread has 255 pages.
- I cannot see, which subforum the found thread is in. Have I found a bug report or a suggestion?
Please let me have those search options. This forum is the official place to report bugs for Scrolls. I have to be able to quickly search whether a bug has already been reported or not.
Regards
Varicus
Hi Varicus,
Since you posted this, we've made some pretty major enhancements to our forum search system. You can limit your search to a specific forum. Just go to the forum search from the Search menu, and choose 'Search All Forums'. From this menu, you can also choose to search the current forum you are browsing, or even the current thread.

Next
Click the 'Specific Forums' option, and select the forum(s) you would like to search. From this menu, you can also choose to specifically search the current forum you're browsing, as well as the current thread.

From this page, you can also choose to display your results as posts, and apply other filters.
Our results do not currently show the name of the forum that the post was made in, but we have plans to improve this soon.
I disabled the Smilies button from the post editor, until we have some smilies made!

I don't know if this is just me but I can't see poll results in certain threads.
Shouldn't there be a Hide/Show Results button in the red box area?
Thanks for the report. We'll look into this.

I can't see the results in that thread either.
That's what I meant by inserting, it was giving me errors but it seems to stopped. Forums are pretty buggy. :-)
What sort of error did you get?
Woohoo!
Thanks for the bug report. I've reproduced this, and it will be fixed in the next deploy of the site.
That is indeed a localization bug. We've corrected this, thanks!
