My opinion is that Memorials should be removed from the game point-blank. Maybe keep them in for awhile until more multi-resource cards come out. They are already useless and nerfed to the ground in and of themselves - all they can do is block a single attack. I felt like with as few cards as there were around originally that they may have been necessary, but currently they add nothing interesting to the game.
In other words, these things promote INACTION. They give resources AND they block an attack. I understand stalling should be a viable strategy, but it should be interactive and engaging, not chump blocking and building up resources. My Energy deck stalls by removing threats from the field until I can put out enough of my own, not from ignoring my opponent for 7 turns because I can Summon up Memorials.
One could argue spells like Burn and Spark are not engaging, I agree, but that problem is neither her nor there in this thread.
