It's a little frustrating that Mojang's Carnalizer visited the forums just now and neglected to clarify info in the one thread that raised a very real issue in the game today. lol.

This isn't a real issue, or a real thread.  People here are simply laughably ignorant.  /rant /thread

Oh ok, I just tried it out in an AI game and it really doesn't work, so seems Lenney was only trolling around *G*. So never mind my thoughts then sure there is plenty of options against it.

If it doesn't work, then they must have patched it, b/c it worked the day the beta launched.  I got sick of order the second day I played it so I abandoned it, but trust me, It worked.  All you have to do is check out the r/scrolls subreddit and there are a ton of peopel there who will tell you the exact same thing.

Not sure why people are saying this doesn't work.  It absolutely works.  I've been doing it since the beta launched.  It works as intended.  Waking Stones reduces all damage dealt to 1, then Plate Armor reduces that 1 damage to 0.

No, it doesn't. I personally tested this, twice. Others have reported the same in another thread as well.

    It doesn't work.

Could you link the other thread please?  Waking Stone with Plate Armor?  Somebody was saying something about Potions of Resistance earlier, which would clearly not work since it's the exact same effect.

It was there on the first day of open beta, not sure where it's gone now.

I just did a search on "invincible" and, about 5 posts down, there's a player explaining why you can still damage it (plate triggers before the stone's effect). It's dated August 23rd, 2012.

Regardless, the only scientific way to go about this is to go in-game and test this yourself. I personally damaged Waking Stones with Plate Armor on them using 2-damage creatures, and I did it in two different matches, so now I don't even need to ask anyone. I just *know*.

Dude, I've set this up before, MULTIPLE TIMES, and completely locked 7/7 Relentless Giants and many other creatures out.  I know it's possible, b/c I've done it.  The opponents always concede.

The 7/7 Ogre would be stopped dead in its tracks, but it'd still deal 1 damage to the Stone.

Also, my bovinefeces detector is starting to act up.

A lot of things you say lack consistency, such as "The opponents always concede" VS "It's not even that good" and "this is a terrible combo". Additionally you said that a Growth player should be able to crush the opponent before they can get this setup... but it only costs 5 resources to set up in a single round. It's pretty obvious that even the best player in the world wouldn't be able to stop it.

Are you trolling, by any chance? Or saying it works so Order players will waste their Plate Armor on their Waking Stones instead of their Spearmen, and you can win more easily?

To anyone reading this... don't believe anything you read on public forums. Either of us could be lying.

Always test things yourself, it's the only way you can be sure.

A 7/7 would not deal 1 damage.  You sir, are a moron.  I'm not trolling.  The combo is impenetrable by creatures.  It is very good if you can set up 3 of them.  In those instances, people will concede.  I don't, however, like the combo and I don't even use it anymore b/c it takes up 6 slots in your deck, and it's not viable to set up consistently.   Is that clearer?

Ok, that is a serious omission from the tooltip then.  Tooltip should read something like:

If opponent blocking unit is destroyed, this creature will continue it's attack, with damage dealt removed from its attack.

Would be a little bit clearer.

I think you are the first person I've ever come across who didn't understand what it meant.  Just sayin.  :)

There are many trials like this.  All of the trials where the AI starts with units, the AI that they start with are all un-targetable.  It's really annoying on the first Hard Trial where you have to start the game staring at a 10/17 relentless golem.

He doesn't continue to deal 4 to every creature.  His 4 damage was dealt to the first one, meaning he had 0 attack left to distribute to the subsequent creatures in the row.  It worked as intended.

You can effectively do the same thing by putting Potion of Resistance on a Cannon Automaton, but it only stays invulnerable for 3 turns, making it a 3 turn death machine.

I think the main strength of your deck is consistency.  It looks like it could be very good at applying early pressure and then continuing that pressure through to the late game.  BUT, calling Fertile Soil and Nutrition bad is simply laughable.  Take a look at this video for more information:
