An other possible solution is to add a filter that only shows scrolls in excess of a given number.
It would be more flexible than a tab showing scrolls in excess of 3 only.
(For instance players that want to keep 3 copies for decks and 3 for trading, thus only selling scrolls in excess of 6. To the contrary, new players may not have/want 3 copies of each scroll and would prefer to get gold by selling scrolls in excess of 2...)

BTW, 4Robato's suggestion is even better IMO since it's more flexible and would make trading much easier (not having to remember what scrolls we wanted to keep or trade).

(Anyway, these 2 suggestions aren't incompatible with each other... :P )

The 0.84 changelog says that precon decks have been "updated to fix rarity distributions". I guess that it means the list (or number) of scrolls have been changed...

However, after deleting my precon decks, I can't see any difference with previous version (comparing using lists on the wiki). I can't see any difference in the store description either...

Did I get something wrong or precon decks haven't been updated?

A win of the day bonus, even if it's small (say 100 gold and you can only get it from a ranked match), could help people who can only play a little each day keep up and give people an incentive to turn the game on every day. Once you have the game running you're more likely to play more. Most free to play games like League of Legends and AirMech have something along those lines.

Additionally (IMO), in the long run Scrolls is more a game where people want to play a few matches regularly rather than a bunch of matches occasionally. So I think it's a good thing to have an incentive to stay a regular player.

Maybe if such rewards are weekly, it wouldn't look like a Facebook game? The problem with latter games is that you feel like you have to connect every few hours or you're lose something, which isn't really fun. The former gold pool was a bit along this line. But weekly bonus just rewards regular players, be they always on line, or playing a match per day, or playing every weekend, ...

I like the way the game is, i just wanted to make a small suggestion. in the deck builder, you have to drag the scroll bar to scroll left or right. it'd be helpful if you could use your scroll wheel or arrow keys to move the scroll bar. That way you wouldn't have to take your mouse off of the cards as you read though them all, as i do every now and then when i make a new deck. or if you could just scroll through cards with your mouse wheel directly, and have them pop up on the right without the mouse hovering over them

+1 for this neat suggestion! :)

Ok, I think I got it. You can replicate the problem by doing the following, at least on the Mac version at 1280x800:

    - Go to store
    - Open up the description of a purchase option by pressing the ? button
    - Try to buy but don't have enough gold for it
    - Use the back button to go to main menu

Now when you return to the store or the deck builder, you'll see that the texts have been offset to the left.

I also encountered this bug in the deck builder (on Windows).
I remember I opened description popups in the store before, however I can guarantee that I didn't try to buy anything. So that may be solely due to the action of opening "?" stuff and then switching between store and deck builder screens... (though I haven't tried to reproduce since then)

I came up with an idea I thought I'd share.  You said they don't want to take up space on all the creature cards to add the keyword Melee, but why not play with the attack power icon and change them for different attack types?  Melee could be a sword, ranged a bow, lobber a catapult, etc.  This would not only definitively identify melee units, but would also be useful as a quick reference when mousing over creatures on the board to see their attack type.

As long as non-melee units still have the talent keyword (Ranged Attack or Lobber) in their text, I think this would be a nice idea. Note however that nothing would tell new players that a unit with a sword is called a melee unit. ;)

Very good ideas! As long as you still have to pay ingame gold for the actual scrolls, I see no problem in selling additional store options.

Yeah, that's what I meant. ;) Thanks for your feedback.

    Quote from IAmVaricus »

But I would like to be able to also unlock those options via ingame means (just examples):
    • To unlock the Order scroll buy option, buy at least 40 single scrolls in the store and sell at least 10 order scrolls back to the store. (same for the other resources)
    • To unlock scroll packs, sell at least 10 Rares and 20 Uncommons back to the store.

     That's good ideas as well!
Requirements for the first option may be too low IMO, but I like the principle.
